Hi all.
I have been using levemir for over 6months now and never had any reactions to it till NOW... :shock:
This last 2 weeks have struggled with doing the injections comfortably and painfree due to red raised hot to touch lumps around the previous injection sites.
Have rotated and changed locations of sites each time and always used a NEW sterile needle 5mm size. [can only use my tummy to do the shots as I am too tiny anywhere else!]
Even bending over has hurt as the lumps swelled up, go hard under the skin, go red and are hot to touch in temp.
Had to be careful with the shots due to the soreness and localised area spreading of the lipis.
This has never happened to me ever before, so am clueless to why now??? :?:
With having a bowel op 3weeks ago I even wondered if this stress contributed to this?
Am weary, tired out sapped of energy lately too. Foggy headed and dreadful memory.
Will be ringing my DSN up on monday as I really dont feel 100%.
Cant fathom out WHY this is happening now.
