Type 1 Levemir

Hi, after many years of using insulatard my doc has put
Me on levemir as I’m getting a rose every morning. I was supposed to get a pump fitted but this has been stopped due to funding in my area. So levemir has been given to try and reset. Since starting I have been running very high blood sugars and I have tonight doubled
My dose. Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions? My body just doesn’t seem to work

Can I ask what a Rose is please ? Also slightly differently, I was on metformin for 24 years and suddenly had a crisis in march and now too feel my body isn't working. My pancreas has shut down and I'm on 5 injections a say. So I suppose all I wanted to say was our bodies evolve and change without reason let's hope levimir is better for you and the change is not just for financial reasons .( be interested to hear how you get on)

I have not switched insulins but I am on Levemir. I take a small dose in the morning and a larger dose in the evening, otherwise I get high blood glucose readings in the morning (and low blood glucose in the afternoon).
