Morning all,
My 21 y/o son is having his first pump fitted today (Omnipod) and so as of last night has both Libra 2 (which he's used for last 18 months) and G6 fitted - and interestingly there's consistently almost a 4 point difference between the two, with the Libra reading lower than G6.
See screen shots attached. Libra on left.
Quite surprised by this. Libra is on arm. G6 on stomach. We've often wondered why Libra is reading low, compared to finger pricks, and always assumed it was the 15min delay, but now wondering whether its more to do with the way Libra / G6 calculates blood sugar. Or is it body sensor location?
I'll get him to do a finger prick shortly to see which is actually more accurate. For now any thoughts?
regards
