Has anyone having trouble with them I’ve just had one after another not work now I don’t have one for the weekend as my chemist doesn’t open and my blood sugars are running about mid twenties again and my back up finger tip strips have gone out of date anybody know that to do thx guys

Try phoning 111 and see if they can organise an urgent prescription for either libre or strips.

999 is for emergencies, 111 is for other urgent needs and if you are on insulin. (Which I think you are) then needing a method of monitoring your blood sugar is a need.

I’ve had a run of sensors fail before too, and it’s so frustrating when it all happens at once.

For now, is there any way to get hold of fresh test strips nearby or from someone you know, just to have something to check with?

You’re not alone in this, it always seems to happen at the worst time. Has anyone else found a good backup plan for situations like this
