I use a reader rather than the app because it is so much easier to use outdoors. I moved to Libre 2 a few months ago and found that the touch screen on the new reader was very unresponsive and sometimes didn't work at all.

I have just got around to complaining to Abbott, and they suggested pressing the button for 30 seconds to see if it resolved the issue. I did this several days ago and it has been working normally ever since.

So, if you have a problem with you touch screen, try pressing the button for 30 seconds - it might work :)

Hi @9031Jonathan ,

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the tip.
I don't use the Abbott reader, I use my phone which adjusts the brightness automatically in daylight.
I have to admit a grease on a capacative phone screen can make it a little glitchy till cleaned.

I'm not sure, but by the looks of it Abbott use a resistive screen on their readers?

Glad you got it sorted.
