Hello andrzejLKS I don't think NHS England will be issuing an England-wide edict that the Libre 3 should now be given out to those who meet the new NICE eligibility criteria. It is up to every diabetic who believes they may be eligible to speak to their diabetes consultant and have a conversation about whether they meet the criteria and if so, whether the Libre 3 (or any other real time CGM) is available. I have been having a discussion on this forum about the Libre 3. The prevailing view appears to be that individual NHS hospital trusts may be very slow in offering the Libre 3 (or a n other real time CGM) to their patients. The new NICE guidelines only came into effect on 1 April 2022. We have all been encouraged by the NHS England diabetes technology co-lead to allow time for the changes to filter through the system and then speak to our diabetes consultant at our next appointment about the new NICE guidelines, eligibility and our options. You haven't said when you last saw or contacted your diabetes consultant. I won't see my consultant until later in the year. I will have "the conversation" with them at that time (hopefully by then they will know what is going on and will have decided what their policy is going to be). I'm not aware of anyone (so far) who has been offered the Libre 3 (or a n other real time cgm) in England by their NHS hospital trust since the new NICE guidelines came into effect.
