Hi guys,
Coming to the end of my libre trial, my diabetic team are going to get it put on prescription (yay) when this one comes off, and say I go a week without another, does the data stay or is it wiped clean? Also, those of you who have it on prescription, when it's due to run out do you then get another and put it on say the next day?
Thanks

Hi,

I get mine on what is called a “batch prescription.” Which means I order direct from my chemist once a month supplying 2 sensors at a time..
I normally order about a week in advance? Most scripts take 2 days to process.) but I allow for any issues as well as a pick up at my convenience..

Hope this helps..

I order 2 sensors for the month, and do so about a week in advance.

Did your diabetes team send you a link for your phone to be able send all the data recorded by the phone or the reader? If not I think once you are on prescription they will provide that link to monitor all your data.

Did you have to register for an account with the L2? If so, use the exact same details to register an account on Libreview. Once registered you can see all the data recorded by your sensors. It's same system my diabetes team use to analyse the data from my Libre2.

If you have any questions ask your diabetes team on how to access all your data.

My Libre is all set up with the hospital, I had an appointment last Wednesday and I thought I had to "send" them the data but they already had it up on their screen as I linked it with the hospital, very clever. The dietitian was so excited by the whole thing lol they're pleased with me keeping my sugars in the zone but I have a few spikes, they have mentioned about maybe adding a unit or 2 of insulin with those meals, as I'm still producing insulin they said its my call if I want to jab myself more than the once a day.
