Hi - new to forum and looking for advice on the above Sensor - I have tried 2 now and both have switched themselves off 1 after 2 days and one installed yesterday sent a message 11.30 last night "Sensor stopped working - replace". Connectivity on both was ffine when first installed. Restarted everything I have access to but I wondered if anyone had a fix for this type of sensor? Seems to be a bit temperamental? Many thanks for any advice

Hi and welcome to the forum @Joan Ramsden . Sheesh, two dud sensors back to back. That’s bad luck. I use Libre sensors. I don’t have too many problems, but from time to time I do have some issues. Have you contacted Abbott ? They will replace them for free. I’m wondering if you have bought into a bad batch as both issues are similar.

out of 5 that i sent back 4 very simular issues twice 2 in row (same prescription chemist here gets gives 2 a time) bad batch imo likely. abbotts usually great at replacing malfunctioning sensors just a shame about parcel force prefered method of courier for them. they've asked each and everytime for sensors to get sent back, dont even need to call them theres a form can fill out: https://www.freestyle.abbott/uk-en/support/sensor-support-form.html would be nice if they gave tracking id in remote area here can take several days although they pay for 24 hour shipping (hopefully they recover the swift deliverly price). had 5 failures at various times one never functioned except initial warmup before lo then switching off. not too bad though 5 returns within 10 months :)

I get mine from the pharmacy.
When I hear of all the problems with UK sensors it makes me wonder , depending on where you live in the world, where their distribution point are.

Not sure this is what's on on the current 3 boxes I have. Same as last 10months. There is storage instructions can't be out with certain temperatures so I guess if stored too cold or been too warm can have significant impact if for a while. Between 4 and 25 degrees something like that https://www.freestyle.abbott/uk-en/support/faq/question-answer.html?q=UKFaqquestion-80

At the moment with ice etc and live remote... Left in back of lorry a couple of days...
