Libre sensor - has anyone tried to wear them anywhere other than on your arms?

Hi
Has anyone tried other places for the sensors? I am going away soon and didn't really want to have the sensor on my arm for all to see, so I have put the last one on my leg and am getting quiet mixed results. At first it was totally wrong for at least 24 hours, saying I was much lower than I was. But since then it has been much more accurate BUT what is strange is my sugars are much more stable at the moment, hardly rising or falling at all, yet with my last few sensors it could rise dramatically after eating, then fall again just as quickly. Since the sensor has been on my leg the rises and drops have been much softer. I have done quite a few blood tests this time and mostly the sensor is spot on. I am just wondering if the leg is actually a better place to have it. Am interested in others experiences trying this. I have done quite a few blood tests this time and mostly the sensor is spot on.

Also, the last sensor I had on my arm has been gone a week but I still have a red circular patch of itchy skin where it was.....anyone else had this?

Thanks for any advice
Karen

I wear mine on my thigh
Thanks for your reply, is that outside or inside? I have mine on the outside but after the first erratic day it seems to be working quite well, good to know others have tried it there :)

On the outside, about the height my hand is near when arms by my side. The first 24 hours is always prone to being erratic, wherever you put it.
