Libre sensor playing up each time it's changed

The last 2 times my mum has changed her sensor, it comes up with alarms unavailable shortly after. Last time it was a case of turning off and on Bluetooth.
She has a Samsung a40 or 41??
It's not got the latest update, as she was worried it wouldn't work with the sensor. Could that be part of the problem?
Anyone else had this trouble?

Hi,

Is your mum starting the sensor on the phone or with an Abbot handset? This could be why alarms are unavailable.

Your mum’s phone seems to be released the same year as mine. (Though mine is a different Samsung model.
I would go for the update. It turns the L2 into a full on CGM.
