You’re right, single use as a monitor.
But they can by all accounts have another use when spent as a simple NFC tag. (Or “air tag?”)

I was prescribed the sensor just over 12 months ago. In that time I have become much more conscious on the effects of individual food stuffs on my sugar levels.
I have had a couple of sensors fall off, which were replaced aby Abbott.
I would like t see some sort of recycling scheme for the applicator, as it seems an awful waste to throw that much plastic away.
So far I think it is an improvement but like most things it is better if you read the instructions before you start belly aching about it
