Yesterday was all about my Lantus not working properly, that pen is in the bin now, today's about a waking 3.8, spiking to 11 after porridge but dropping back to 3.6, 3 hours after injection. I levelled with 2 glucose tabs at 4.5, debating lunch and am gym bound shortly. :) Yeah! That'd work for me too but..... I've never met DAPHNE, and can miss hypo's till I drop under 3, I test an hour after food usually, but corrections depend on whether a swim's planned etc. Yes, I'd say it's berserk :) Yes if available on prescription as I can't afford it, I'm not getting too excited as there's no decision yet here, I'd meet the criteria on at least a couple of points used by some other CCG's but did hear that >8 tests a day isn't going to be one of them. I do have it here in black & white (MP correspondence inc a letter from the accountable officer)that our CCG will make their decision this month (though there was a meeting on the 10th) so we continue to wait and see [S]and continue trolling the CCG Twitter feed...[/S]
