Libre without the sticky

Is it possible to use a libre type device without having to stick it onto your skin?

I'm allergic to the adhesive used on most medical applications and wonder if there is a way to use this type of technology without having to stick it on my skin.
 
I stick it on my leg but wipe my leg with antiseptic wipe before applying.
 
I’ve never needed to use it, but there is a product called Skin Tac which is a barrier cream to protect your skin from the application of adhesive dressings etc. might be worth a try? Have a look on Amazon.

You can't remove the sticky part without mangling the inserting system, so no.
Have you tried a Libre recently to see if you have a reaction?
A couple of years ago, the diabetes Facebook groups were full of people struggling with the adhesive and getting a reaction to it, but I hardly see those posts anymore so they must have changed the glue to something most people tolerate.

If you still have a reaction, there are some options to try. Skin tack, a specific type of nose spray under the sensor (will look it up for you if needed), or Tegaderm type film under the sensors are all things that have worked for different people.
 
I've not yet tried Libre. Given I have a problem with adhesive dressings, I am looking for solution s. I'll have a look at the things mentioned above.

I am allergic to all sorts of normal plasters and dressings, but I’ve been using the libre for three years and have never had a reaction to it.
