Life insurance

Looking for life insurance to cover a new mortgage but have been turned down by aviva, I have type 1 diabetes and thought it was generally good control. Anyone know of an insurance company without being inflated premiums.

The best advice is to shop around, there are some specialist insurance brokers that deal with life-long conditions such as diabetes but don't take it for granted they are getting you the best policy.

It's many years since I started my policy, I got mine through a company called Cornhill Insurance who transferred their life policies to the Phoenix Group, might be worth a try as they were originally competitive but can't say what they are like now.
