Sounds like you know what to do, mate.
I like the wise man's story.
For me, when I go off the rails, it's just a case of making sure that I get rid of all the food in the cupboards that I know I shouldn't have. Get rid of ALL temptation.
If you're out of work, this might be a bit of a problem... (Food ain't cheap!)
For me, I just have to go at it HARD for 2 or 3 days to get me back on track. This means ONLY eating meat/fish and eggs (I treat myself to a mixed grill on day 3!). Easy to maintain for 3 days, and the boost it gives once you've burned up those residual carbs is enough to give you the motivation to carry on.
Look at those first 2 or 3 days as "the first steps".
We al know it's not easy when you're feeling a little down. Best of luck to you.
