You are on the road now and things can only get better. Much better! Sure, there’ll be times when you slip a little, but that’s ok, just get back to the path as soon as you can.
My diagnosis in December was a vast kick up the bum for me - since then I have adopted a keto diet with intermittent fasting, normalised my bloods, got rid of my chronic digestive issues and lost 4 stone in weight. If you had said that I could do this, last year, I would have laughed in your face. And yet, with the right motivation and the right way of eating, all the rest just follows, and you will start to see progress very quickly.
