Link between Type 1 diabetes and Kawasaki Disease

Hey guys, just wondering if there is anyone out there who could shed some light on this subject for me?
I am type 1 diabetic and have also had Kawasaki Disease at 18 months which isn't very common in the UK apparently.
Over the years, I have done my own research here and there. Finding that Kawasaki Disease is a suspected Auto Immune Disease and being that it seems once you've had one you are more susceptible to others. Could that be the trigger? Could there be a link?! Any input is appreciated

also says here about 2 African American males who had both but it says it is very rare! theres been no reports of it anywhere else aparts from me lol
