Hi where can I understand the basis of Ketosis?
I would like to educate myself. I currently eat a very low carb diet but have not sorted out my diet to be low in protein or to be sure how much protein I am consuming .
one of the things I would like to understand is - do I need to be I n Ketosis for my body to burn the increased fat I am consuming? if I did need to be in ketosis to burn fat - would this mean that I would lack energy when eating a large (but not large enough for ketosis) amount of fat?
Hope that question makes sense - if not just point me to a good explanation of ketosis
