Which app are you talking about? I know about dexcom (the answer is yes) but this thread appears to be about "smary watches" that can detect bg uninvasively, which so far, as far as I know, isn't possible.
If you can tell us a little more about which CGM you are using & the devices you have? (Or considering?)
It may well be possible to get BG readings with alerts on a smartwatch.
