Liquorice Allsorts before and after exercise?

Well,Bassett's have 13.8gm per 25gm of Allsorts so that's quite high if you are carb counting. Also be aware that Liquorice has a reportedly bad effect on potency in men!!

Basically, you can eat anything, if you know what's in it and have taken enough exercise or medication to cover it. Or Just don't care! That doesn't mean that pure sugar in candy is the best of ideas. If you feel you must have sugar, something with a lower GL and slower release might be better.

My post was a bit tongue-in-cheek (although I have 4 bags of Liquorish Allsorts in my fridge that a friend brought back from his last visit to the UK, guess they'll have to stay there).

I am carb-counting so I'll not partake of them.

I guess that when I get into single digits I'll do a test on what effect they have on me.

Mick
