I had an appointment with the DN on Tuesday and she has transferred me to the diabetes specialist who I am seeing in a couple of weeks as she suspects I have MODY as I’m 31 and presented no symptoms (apart from some issues in the private region(not thrush))

I have been testing more often to see what foods effect me

My typical fasting numbers are between 9&10

My before dinner numbers are typically in the 7s rising to about 8or9 2 hours after eating

However today I tested at 6.45pm before going to an exercise class and it was 7.4 (not eaten since 1.30pm)
I felt a bit shaky when I got home at 9pm and tested and was 10.3
I hadn’t eaten anything between the first and last test . . .

Do you think this is due to exercise or liver dump?

Any thoughts would be great so I can discuss with the specialist in a couple of weeks!

Not being able to eat as many chocolate digestives as I used to.
Some people find that strenuous exercise can raise glucose levels. This is still essentially a liver dump, your body is giving you energy to recover from exercise.
