Has anyone done any research on this product? It looks too good to be true. It's expensive but I'm very tempted to try it.

Yes.
We bought 2 packs, over about 6 months.
Mr B liked it for wraps.
It was horrible as garlic/naan bread (pan fried with garlic butter)
and OK as a v quick pizza base.
We used it as a sandwich for melted cheese and spiced chicken, and that was OK, but nothing special.

While it was fun as a novelty, that got old fast, and I think the last two pieces are still sitting in the cupboard 6 months later (they have a long date).

We won't be re-buying. The price simply doesn't justify it. But then I have never eaten much bread, so I have never needed a replacement for it.

Thank you for a very swift reply. I do follow a lchf way of life & can resist most things & don't generally miss much & can well live without it but I really do miss bread & wondered if this would be good as a wrap. I'm not into pizza so no miss there but the thought of a chicken mayo wrap made my mouth water

When it comes to whether you'll like it or not, you are the only one who can decide that. Lo-dough hasn't exactly been a Marmite product for those who tried it, but it has had mixed reviews.

I'm quite happy not bothering with bread or bready products, so haven't bothered trying it myself.

Have you tried home made sourdough bread with Einkorn or other flour?

We have not and I miss bread.

Last summer in France, we had artisan sourdough bread without BG or stomach issues.

*if my body can’t beat breads due to years of low fat high carb diet, so be it. It’s on me.

I hope others who wish to enjoy are able.

I have used it as a pizza base and yes, it did the job of holding the pizza together and the pizza was great because pizza using this item is all about what's on top. However I think it would be dreadful as a wrap, the texture is like polystyrene and virtually tasteless. It's about 2 carbs, I would rather buy a low carb wrap for around 5 carbs (also expensive online though). In my opinion it is in NO way a substitute for bread, not even close.
