I feel the only way any "long term damage" because of the "wrong insulin" will be found out is in the future.?
The best you can do is control your diabetes from now, which will help you later..
Maybe to help your dyslexia you can take a cheap digital recorder, or use your phone recorder to take notes on what the nurse says?
This will help memory more than writing..
The weight loss is a concern which could be stress or because of the rapid highs & lows over the "14 months" using the wrong insulin??
If you have been running high on average? Then this could be the reason for the 10kg loss..?
You will need to talk to your nurse..
