Talk of bubbles in reservoir the pump could be called Michael Bublé

Ooohhhh I'll call my pump that I like him :). Is the insulin you draw up from at room temp?? I normally draw up the day before, so if any bubbles form I can still get rid of them before using that cartridge.

I wouldn't worry about the bubbles yet as youve only just started pumping so dont want to get into a tiz waz yet. Although the bubbles shouldn't really be there, they will only be a bother if you have yr pump upright as air bubbles rise to the top and can be pushed into the tubing, whereas if you have the pump the other way so that tube is at the bottom, the bubbles will not go into the tube. Muchas gracias Carbsrok .......
What works for me really well is to get the cartridge up to body temp for a few hrs before putting it in the pump. This makes it easier to get rid of bubbles as room temp is a lot colder than body temp and the cartridge will get warm inside the pump cos of motor and battery.
