Hello!
So I have been diabetic almost 28 years. When I was diagnosed I was given a few of those A5 booklets with information, articles recipes etc in.
There was a recipe for cereal bars which I’m sure was on the back page of one of them. It was crushed digestives, oats, chopped nuts, raisins and melted chocolate and butter. I used to bring them to school for my snack. We had a meet up with my daughter’s school friends over the summer and someone had one of the tubs I used to use to bring them to school and it triggered a random memory!
My mum keeps everything, she doesn’t throw anything out! Now, I have found a few of these booklets, but not the one I am looking for!
Does anyone remember this? Must be from 30 years ago! I’d love to make it again!
