Hello, I've been looping with AAPS, OMNIPOD and Libre 2 for a few years now. The improvement in my time in range has been great and I've reduced the number of hypos.
My clinic has now offered me a T Slim device which offers a closed loop system.
Has anyone used the T Slim closed-loop system and is it any good?
One feature I use in heavily the AAPS loop is the Insulin Sensitivity Factor (ISF) which controls how much bolus insulin is given by the loop to reduce my blood sugar in response to errors in my food notifications. Ie I bolus the majority of a meal and then the loop will bolus the balance of carbs if I ate more food. I find this function brilliant for managing cheese at supper time. The loop boluses through the night keeping my BS in range. To do this successfully I need to alter the ISF throughout the day with quite significant changes. Does anyone using the TSlim have experience with this methodology?
