Low carbs not no carbsHi all I’m recently diagnosed type two no meds and eating more selective.. no carbs ..less sugar… im consistently loosing around 2/3 lb per week… each week for a few months now .one of my indicators something wasn’t rite.
even when I have eaten I never feel full. Is this a sign I need to be on medication? I did want to avoid it altogether… and loosing weight is good rite?? Even if it is because of disease? My cells using visceral fat that’s already accumulated.??
So I’m not even sure what my question is but was after some input if possible please xxx
I don't think it's a sign you need medication. You're doing well. It does sound like you're using bodyfat, leading to weight loss. It might however be a sign you need to eat more of certain things.Hi all I’m recently diagnosed type two no meds and eating more selective.. no carbs ..less sugar… im consistently loosing around 2/3 lb per week… each week for a few months now .one of my indicators something wasn’t rite.

Whether losing weight is good really depends on your starting point. If you have weight to loose then I’d say good. If you are already underweight then not good.
feeling hungry isn’t necessary, so

feeling hungry isn’t necessary, so maybe think about eating more protein I definitely can
it’s probably a symptom of this disease … never feeling satisfied.. still feeling hungry.. so obviously it’s not being managed and weigh loss more likely to be down to body not getting enough energy so using stored fat than the diet which I started 3 days ago … got my first appointment today… for meds monitor ect.Insulin I understand is the hormone that pack your cells with fat (simply put), so if you're not spiking insulin because you are on low carb, then it's obvious you could lose weight depending of course how well you are managing any insulin rush.
As for never feeling full... are you having enough protein? If hungry try a boiled egg, piece of cheese, or similar protein.
They tested for it yesterday. Thanks love x@Linskic Ah your second things clarified something for me. You intimate your weight loss started some time ago, yet 3 days ago you cut the carbs after a type 2 diagnosis. Glad you have an appointment today, it could be Type 1, push for more extensive tests to get a proper diagnosis.
Why didn’t I think of that?If you’re not feeling full can’t you eat more? Just a polite question
I’m trying to loose weight so kinda defeats the object. How can I explain this? Erm do you suffer with excessive thirst? Or understand what that’s like? One That you just can’t seem to quench? Well my appetites like that… a feeling of never being full … it’s ridiculous! The brain / stomach connection … there is no satisfaction!
