Lorna's cat didn't win the Guardian crossword.

I have been helping my friend Lorna do the Guardian prize crossword for a few years now. I had never done a cryptic crossword before, I prefer sudoku. Two or three years ago we won the prize crossword in Lorna's name. Several weeks back Lorna put my name on the entry and I won! More recently we decided that we would put Jenny, Lorna's cat, on the entry. She didn't win. I don't know how we will break it to her, she sits with us and sends out vibes to help us get the answers. The crossword is always easier when she is sitting with us.
