Hi,i was wondering if anyone had any ideas how a disabled lady of 65years can lose weight.I eat very little but over the past 5 years, because of medication changes, not only for diabetes but for my other ailments my weight has ballooned. :(
I have gone from a size 24 clothes to a size 36 dress size.I hate this but because of limited mobility find it hard to exercise.I cannot use some of the machines because i am too heavy apart from the fact i cannot stand for very long.I am at my wits end :?: and want to be able to go out and enjoy life more. Please can anyone help at all.Thank you for reading this.

I too am disabled, and due to different ailments, can't exercise.
To keep my weight stable, I just keep my food intake to 1200 calories or less a day.

My Mum had limited mobility after suffering from a stroke, the hospital Occupational Therapist were immensely helpful at helping her after discharge and to carry out some forms of exercise daily, I don't know how you would get OT in place dragonfly but your gp might be able to help you get in touch with them or make the arrangements for you.
