Lost MiaMiao2 Cable

Hi all
I’ve lost my MM2 cable and it appears they’re out of stock on the UK and EU stores.

Does anyone know if the MM1 cable works with the MM2? or anyone know what type of cable it is as assume it’s not bespoke to MM2

@GerryBolger can I ask what you are using your MiaoMiao for?
I used to use one with my Libre 1 but was so grateful I could ditch it when I upgraded to Libre 2.
As Libre 1 is no longer available in the UK, I imagine there are better options which do not need you to source a cable for an obsolete piece of kit.

I used xDrip+ on my Android with OOP2. I understand there are also options for Diabox and Shuggah which can hijack the Bluetooth signal which is used for alarms and contains the reading for your blood sugars.

i use it to get a CGM read. I use it with Xdrip on iphone as as I’ve lost it ai keep forgetting to scan before and after and only noticed going hypo when i felt sick this evening 2.6!

I can inform you, because because dug out my drawer & checked. The cables all pretty much are the Same.. But a Watlaa one & Bubblan bubble mini cable are the wrong polarity to charge a Miaomiao 2. & visa versa with the MM2 cable…

Do you use a Libre 2? There maybe way cheaper solutions as to what I’m seeing via text?

But you don't need the Miaomiao to convert a Libre 2 into a CGM,
There are at least three options I know of (xDrip, Diabox and Shuggah) that can do this without the need for a Miaomiao.
They all mean you do not need to scan and all provide alerts when you are low .. or high or rising fast or falling fast.

I would strongly recommend investigating these options so you never need to charge a MiaoMiao so the lost cable won't matter.

Thanks. I didn’t realise XDrip did it worth our the MM. However can’t get xDrip and the libre2 to talk but am changing one tomorrow so let’s hope that behaved. thanks for coming back. I don’thibk when I started using L2 xDrip was a feature. or if so I missed it.
