I had the same problems some years ago when I was pregnant and found that I wan't absorbing iron in the gut (took eight years for the specialist to work it out) so had to go onto iron injections. Not exactly pain free but they did the trick and seemed to boost my iron levels for some time before being repeated. I've not had the need for injections for about 5 years now so fingers crossed that's one thing I can tick off for now</p></blockquote><p></p>
