I’ve only recently found out I’m pregnant. I’m five going on 6 weeks. I’ve been trying to keep my levels under control but they’re going into hypos several times a day due to the tighter control. My diabetic team tells me not to worry about hypos and that they won’t harm the pregnancy but if I’m honest I’m not sure I believe them? It would be one thing if it were a few times a week or once a day but this is a few times a day every day which can’t be good at this stage of the pregnancy.

Does anyone else have experience with having a lot of hypos and this early on? I’ve contacted the diabetic team I’m under as I know I need help getting a handle on this but any other reassurance or advice would be much appreciated.
