Is your 2am low from a finger prick or libre?
I ask because pressure on the Libre (e.g. lying on it) causes it to read low.
If you are waking up and getting a low reading from a finger prick I would be more concerned.
when i first started with this diabetes i was awoken at 2 am, with liek some one scratching my head, i sat up put the ligth on and thought hmm what was that then decided to test sugar level and it was 3.8 so had to eat something , it was scary actually to think it had woken me up from deep sleep, but yes I was told never go to bed on less than 8.0
I woke up shaking like a leaf and sweating like mad I couldn't test. But the am one I did finger prick.
I use insulin pen novorapid. I thought I put it in mu profile will fix that.

Purplesunsets, if you go to your Account, by clicking on your name in the top right hand side of your screen, you can update your profile with your type of diabetes, plus any medications you are taking. If you're struggling with that then send me a PM with the information and I can tweak it for you.
You don't have to display that information, but as you are taking insulin it's particularly important where any messages should take that into account.
