Hi,
I was wondering whether you can help as my body is messing me about a bit today and I'm feeling pretty icky.
For the last God knows how long of testing my fasting glucose has been above 9.5 and pre-prandial / random testing above 8.5 which has been a steady norm. Post prandial its even higher than that sitting round the 12/13 mark.
Today however my fasting this morning was 4.3 so I had something my usual cup of tea & its now 4.2 which is really weird as I've never had a reading below 6 even when randomly testing.
Its something really quite strange for me & I wondered why my body would be doing this. Yesterday my fasting was 10.1 and my random readings were 9.6 & 9.8 so its really done a u-turn.
I can't physically eat due to gastroparesis & I'm chronically ill / disabled so exercise is a real difficulty. So I've not done anything different at all.
I've got a neurogenic bowel & bladder, this made the bowel related reactions to metformin & the other drug quite dangerous as if I get a bad stomach then unless its hard it can't be expelled. There was discussion of starting to use insulin because I've got bleeding behind one of my eyes which has worsened.
