Squire Fulwood said:I don't know of anyone that got issued with a diet sheet for diabetes by the NHS. The two they gave me were for blood pressure and cholesterol. It took me a year to realise they were useless to me.
As for the rest of it. I would get readings like yours if I ate bread or pie crusts. I would probably get high readings if I ate porridge and bananas also. Reducing the portions would not help me but might be ok for you.
The only thing I can't explain is your low fasting figures. I am wondering what happened when you got your diagnosis. It looks like you would fail a Glucose Tolerance Test and pass the fasting ones. I don't know anymore than that.
