Hi there.

Since my calcium level is low at 2.23 would this be why that I am more prone to injuries such as sore feet all the time and recently a sore elbow from lifting weights?

Kind Regards

Colin

Do you know what your lab's assay ranges are? They're usually on the report.

My calcium is always low. In fact, I've just checked, mine are often below range, albeit, just below range. My Doc reckons it's just how I run. The range on my area is 2.2-2.6

oh so I guess low calcium isnt the cause probably just doing too much

Colin, with most conditions there will always be some people who present, "missing" some symptoms. Don't get hung up on ticking all the boxes.
Have you looked up the symptoms for low calcium? Dr Google has a fair bit on it. The NHS also has a short section on it: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/hypoparathyroidism/ The parathyroid test is just another blood test.

When I queried my always skirting around the lower range (more often low than not), my GP had me tested for hypoparathyroid issues, even though it would have been highly unlikely, as it's not common and and although my thyroid is a bit dickey, it's not autoimmine based.
