I was very happy about having found a pretty tasty lowish carb bread (about half the carbs of normal bread) in my local supermarket. But today I went out to do various unpredictable things, exercise-wise, and realised that I usually tuck some bread and cream-cheese, hummus, egg-salad or some other scoopable topping in my bag to fend off hypo's before they're there. Much better than eating sweets in my opinion, as I have to eat something anyway and I can vary the bread/topping ratio depending on activity and bg.
Doesn't work quite that way with lower-carb bread, though. I'll sleep on it to decide to go back to normal bread or find some other trick for nourishment/impending hypo's when doing unusual things.
Never thought lower carb bread would have it's own problems!
