Low carb dessert suggestions

I've been tasked with making a dessert for after the meal I've been invited to.
Normally, if I fancied anything, it'd be berries and a bit of yoghurt.
Can anyone give me a recipe they've tried which is low carb, looks posh and is yummy?

Keto ice cream made with double cream and sweetner. The chocolate I have made has been successful.
 
There are some low carb but low fat forms of “yoghurt” around now. I use them as they are convenient for a work lunch box. Most supermarkets seem to do them now.

I eat plenty of fat so the low fat on this occasion doesn’t bother me.

Some are quite low in carb content.

The simplest thing is a chocolate mousse made with a stevia based sweetener, 90% or higher chocolate and double cream, served with fresh raspberries.
If I want a cheaper option I make a sugar free jelly with fresh or frozen berries in it and top with mousse.
If you want a hot option - use frozen rhubarb with a few frozen raspberries (makes a lovely colour), a ground almond crumble, and real egg custard.

Hi, You've misread my post. I've been invited to a friend's house and have to take the dessert... so I was looking for personal recommendations. I've Googled til my head hurts. I want something people have produced. I also have to take it round to my friend's house so ice cream isn't an option unfortunately

No recipe, I just whip up a tub of double cream, add in a quantity of melted chocolate and sweeten to taste with truvia.
I usually grate the chocolate and melt it by nuking for 10s at a time in the microwave on a plate. Take it out once most of the chocolate has started to melt and stir until smooth. If I nuke too much I just let the rest set and eat it as usual!
Set in the fridge for a few hours, and decorate.
 
Flourless Chocolate

  • 1 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1.5 cups of unrefined sugar coconut sugar or maple sugar seem to work best
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 c butter or coconut oil for paleo
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Melt butter over low heat (it should be melted but not hot)
  3. Butter the bottom of a spring form pan
  4. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, cocoa powder, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth.
  5. (Don't over mix or the cake will be rubbery.)
  6. Pour mixture into the spring form pan.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes

I use stevia instead of sugar.
And serve with whipped cream

No need for microwave to melt chocolate. The old fashioned way, before microwave nuking machines were invented, was to melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water.
