I think I must be succeeding at the low carb thing!
The hardest bit for me has been potatoes...which I LOVE
Yesterday we had a family roast and I did make myself a roast potato. However I could not actually eat it all although I really enjoyed half of it. Then felt rather 'full' [gave away other half which is probably why my husband isn't losing weight!]

Hope this means my body is becoming accustomed to it all.

I feel so much better on it and am still gently losing weight

thanks for all the help

Well done Susan..I just got weighed today from Docs, started kinda low carbing last week, cut out bread, pasta, still had some rice and potatoes, just havent had time to do a shop yet, cut out fizzy drinks (most of the week, had a couple at the weekend), like you, i feel much better too and lost a staggering 8lb in a week  , good luck !!

Well done, am still trying the low carb thing myself and seem to be living off chicken and cous cous, (I have no imagination or time to spend hours in the kitchen!))

Keep up the good work though!

Well done, Susan, sounds like you are on the right track!

I'm amazed, since starting low carbing about 5 weeks ago, I feel fab, and ... gum desease which has plagued me for many many years, has COMPLETELY gone. Overnight.

I love that I don't get the mid afternoon snoozy feeling anymore either. Bags of energy, and I love what I am eating!

My only concern is I travel a lot on business and I am not always able to make healthy choices.
