I suggest switching to a protein breakfast.
And make sure you have enough potassium in your diet (but bananas are not ideal on a LC diet, even though they have potassium. there are many other potassium containing foods, or you could supplement. I do)

Hope that helps.

I would agree with Brunneria about potassium.Sodium also is important to make sure you get enough of alongside potassium as they work together.Himalayan salt is a healthier salt to use. Unfortunately many high potassium foods are high in sugar( dates,,prunes, bananas etc)Avocados though are a great source.I also take magnesium which is another vitally important mineral which apparently none of us get nearly enough of ... I have upped my dosage a lot which has massively improved my energy I believe and body aches and pains I was having at night.Deficiency can also lead to restless leg syndrome and inability to get restful sleep. Its a very important mineral for muscles and nerves, and helpful also with anxiety and depression... speak from personal experience. And the magnesium burn rate is much higher when someone has been going through stress. Enough reason for me to supplement as diabetes IS stress!!! Drink plenty of water also. I hope you are feeling better soon and your energy levels improve.Thats just my tuppence worth but I'm sure you will get much advice from the helpful folk on here !
