Very best of luck with that. I have been looking into what to eat/what not to eat over the past month. Started on slimming world and lost very little with weight yoyoing. Do not think it helps my type2 diabetes either although I am told Doctors currently recommend this group. Looked at this site and others in the last 2 to 3 days and am left foggy brained with too much differing information. I now believe I am NOT to eat wheat (breads of any shade, cereals, bicuits etc), milk, some Legumes yes some not, but God knows which. No fruit, some fruit, any fruit spelt ending fruit! Cheese is a no. Fill my face with Mayo, eat no Mayo. Fish yes but only some fish Meat yes but not processed nor fatty, nor red, white or blue. Nuts yes, but only one per year so I am saving that for Christmas, and definitely I will not mash it into a peanut butter type paste God forbid I should try to eke it out a little. Veg yes but only certain types. I hate veg more than my kids, but recently found a liking for some one of which is carrots only to today read they are BAD for my diabetes. I assume I am only to eat the green stringy tree type veg that makes me gag (now an accepted method of informing me if a food item is good for me). Potatoes seem to float on an hourly basis between evil, and good. As for carbs I am now totally lost as to what one is, where to find it or not, and if it is a good or nasty little devil of a carb which may be turned into something else by the way it is harvested, cooked, looked at, stroked or spoken to. All of the above, and more I have gleened from many experts giving advice on many sites. My decision is to go and open, finish, and enjoy a bottle of wine whilst watching a good film. By the way wine has been put through the mill also by the conflicting advice of experts and the common man/women.Hi does anyone know any low carb dips(homemade) that I can dip my celery sticks in ,celery can get a bit boring after a while ?
