Low Carb Food List

Hi, my wife says shes sick and tired of making me food, putting it in front of me and me saying "i cant eat that" so she has asked for a list of what i can eat so i have tried making a list of food in carb order and i wonder if anyone could correct it if im wrong please?

Ive started with the lowest working up, so basically i am going to say the higher up the list the better...

Bok Choy
Celery
Asparagus
Egg Plant
Lettuce
Radishes
Spinach
Bell Pepper Green
Cabbage
Cauliflower
Cucumber
Mushroom (Button)
Rhubarb
Zucchini
Avocado
Fennel
Green Beans
Tomatoes

I am going to compile a list of all foods groups if i can but just wondered if im on the right track with these or maybee someone knows if there is a lists on the net like this and i can just copy it instead? Thankyou

I was going to say I was surprised how bad cabbage was - then realised its there twice. Presumably the one near the top is correct or are they different types?

Once a week I allow myself a treat.

One of those basic trifles from Tesco with jelly and 'strawberries' ( I am NOT convinced they are real)
Then custard and 'fresh' cream.

Not a little one... A BIG one and they cost about £1.

They taste GORGEOUS and I know I shouldn't but I divide it up into 4 and usually eat the lot over 1 day.

Strangely it doesn't make my BG raise too much.

Maybe I'm just lucky?

I did wonder about jelly as I really like jelly.....

I do get some funny looks at the checkout though, I have a mountain of jellies a bag of nuts and green leaves

Did you ever consider making your own meals since you can not eat what your patient wife makes!??
