low carb plan

Hi Chrissie,

This is my routine at the moment, although there is so much you can cook without needing pasta, rice or potatoes...

Breakfast
Cubes of cheese and salami
or
Omlette with cheese and mushroom
or
Greek yoghurt with berries and a tiny bit of honey

Snack
Nuts
Olives

Lunch
Salad leaves
Pine nuts
Chicken or prawns
Oil and vinegar

Snack
Ginger oatcake

Dinner
Chicken breast stuffed with mushroom and blue cheese, wrapped in palma ham
Mashed butternut squash
Broccoli
Grilled tomato

Snack
Couple of squares of 80% chocolate

Thanks, are you also trying to lose weight? I have about 3 stones to lose, also, I seem to be sooooo hungry all the blooming time!

Hi Chrissie,

I'm not trying to loose weight but have lost a few lbs low carbing. The great thing about it (aside from good blood sugar results) is that you should stop craving stodge and you'll feel much less hungry. This coming from someone who has a MASSIVE appetite!

This is what I have eaten today,
breakfast
40gms almonds
100gms full fat greek yog,

lunch
large salad with olive oil and red wine vinegar, tin of mackerel,

snack 1oz walnuts

dinner
steak, spinach, whole green beans, peas
2 pieces 90% chocolate
glass red wine

snack 1oz walnuts.

Originally I lost weight on this diet, about a stone and a half, in fact at one stage I was losing too much weight! Now it has stabilized. I find I am never hungry with this diet!
