Low carb prediabetes

Hello everyone. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes 2.5 years ago. Then my BG ce back normal, but I started testing my postprandoal and fasting. Fasting was good, postprandial bad, so I went to a doctor. She told me to limit carb intake, so I limited and consumed about 60 gram of carbs every day. My postpranfial was better, but fasting got worse. In July this year my doctor told me to do OGTT, result was 5.6 for fasting and 6.5 2 hours later. Doctor said to continue low carb. So 6 months later my fasting 6.2-6.4 and postprandial is still good. What is going on? I took an advice from doctor and it's getting worse than before. Bu the way, I am lean (bmi 19) active (doing articles arts and jogging) my lipids profile is perfect. So I don't understand can low carb worsen fasting glucose level so much? (I'm on low carb 1.5 years and since then FBG started to worsen) or its just a quincidence and I shoul continue low carb?
Thank you.

Hi and welcome! You might find this article useful
Hi! Thank you very much for your reply, but I forgot to say that A1C worsened as well. Not so much but anyway from 5.3% to 5.8%. Also, I am doing intermittent fasting 14/10 and looks like it affects me not like it affects other people according to what I read and dietitian said...
