At the supermarket( Iuse LIDL), I buy meat, fish, butter, cheese, cream and fresh veggies, including salads. And a little fruit. If they have them, I buy Macanuts. Lidl also have fabulous Greek yogurt. I occasionally buy tiny new potatoes.
I get my milk and eggs from the milkman and some of my meat and fish from our wonderful local butcher.
Got Sea Bass Fillets and green beans today for dinner.
I buy Wheat gluten from Low carb megastore and the other bread ingredients from Holland and Barrett.
I did try Da Vinci syrup and it's sickly, so won't do that again. I have some low carb wraps in the freezer. They make interesting faux pizza.
If I want to make a nut based cake or biscuits, I buy nuts at Lidl and grind them. It's surprising how varied a diet you can have cooking from scratch. However for Dreamfiels pasta, I either go to LCM online or to a littel health food shop which has it, but it's half an hour away by bus and I have to get to the town centre first.
