Hi. I'm type 1 and live in the uk. I'm on omnipod 5 and freestyle libre 2 plus.
For 3 weeks now I've been doing healthy low carb high fat as I've put on weight since using this system. The first few days my numbers were good, I lost 5lbs in water weight I believe, and I'm feeling a lot better mentally, but I'm having trouble keeping them below 8 or 9 and sometimes higher during the day.
Apart from needing to contact my DSN in the new year, I'm hoping somebody could give me any ideas on adjustments etc?

when speak to dsn can try ask for referrel for dietician to help support. have look at https://www.uhsussex.nhs.uk/resources/low-and-very-low-carbohydrate-diets-in-type-1-diabetes/ take it you've already tried correctional dosage advice?

from above url said:
It is important to note that protein can also raise blood glucose, although not as much as carbohydrate. You may need to take a small dose of insulin to counteract the slower rise in blood glucose from protein.

dsn complaining i'm relatively low carb 80-90g lada to keep eye ketone buildup. ketones for me are relatively high frequently >2.

tagging @Antje77 lada, she eats low carb and can perhaps can assist, she is not a pump user or am I.

Not wishing to cross post . @Smithjoa what were your BS numbers like prior to you switching to a low carb diet? What was your diet like before switching and , when you say low carb , how many carbs per day are you now consuming ? Sorry for all the questions .
