I get my fat from:
Cheese
Salad dressing
Mayo
Sugar Free Jelly and Cream
Squirty Cream
Avacados
Olive Oil
Butter
and lots of meat.
It's also worth noting that on your current 170kcal a day diet, your probably burning the rest of your energy as body fat rather than digested fat, so you're already on a "high fat diet", without even eating it.

The problem is I spent a good part of last night parting with a huge chunk of those calories being very sick.

cheese ( I can eat feta cheese)
I also have sugar free jelly and fresh cream
Tried double cream, no go.
greek style yogurt (first try today, and it was fine, I had it with strawberry's)

I thought for a second then that you said "spent all night partying and being sick".
956 kcal is a great improvement (even if you didn't keep it all down). Maybe you're slowly getting used to the Metformin. I remember it being worst in the first couple of weeks (although it didn't make me sick).

That's a great list of things that you used to think were unhealthy, but which are really good for you! A low-carb diet can be really fun once you get your head around it!

OMG Def! You have gestational diabetes! Congratulations!

What do you dress your salads with? I'm sure you could work some oil into the dressing?
