I’m having my gallbladder removed at the end of this month and been told for two weeks before I’ve got to follow a low fat diet. I’m worried about the impact this may have and also no idea on what to eat. Suggestions I’ve seen seem bare minimal to eat so worried that will impact my levels a lot. I know I’ll have to adjust my insulin accordingly also. Anyone been thru something similar and/or suggestions as to what to eat. Thank you

Did you ask why? Had mine removed last year and had no pre op dietary advice given/requirements at all.

This was predianosis. At that time I wasn’t overly low or high fat but they never asked.

I’d take the advice to reintroduce fat slowly afterwards seriously though. I’ve adapted but it took a while.
