DD, I think he got the good genes in the relationship, you got the good looks. :-D
Your hubby has perfectly normal bg. This how normal bg looks, good to be reminded of it now and then.I'm the diabetic T1 in our partnership. Needless to say I do test hubby...
I have never had a reading above 5.6 for him... 99% in the very low 4's.
Can really low levels be harmful? 5.6 is highest after food ever.....
Know I should probably be feeling proud of him... But his cholesterol is higher normal levels...getting checked in next couple weeks though.
Just started to add more fat into diet.
So is there too low levels for bg's?

Thank you.. Being T1 30+ years I think I have now forgotten what non diabetics good readings should look like!! I was testing him after 2 hours just to see if he had reactive hypoglycaemia as he is rarely above 4.6 and 90% of time 4.3 or lower...Your hubby has perfectly normal bg. This how normal bg looks, good to be reminded of it now and then.
No need to overdo testing. As long as he feels fine in general I suggest you accept he has normal glucose metabolism. It isn't that uncommon after all. To have readings below 5 all the time is very normal indeed. The 2.1 was my artery reading when my blood pump meter showed 4.2!!
Mthats why I worry that all his readings ate going to be very low.....
