Low reading even after eating rubbish!

Hi, I'm not diabetic and after testing for the last few days I don't think I am (? - not up to speed on all the ins and outs to be honest!!)
My readings are in the normal range before eating and 2 hours after rise by about 1.5 - machine has averaged around 5.8

Today I came home from work and ate 4 Oreos, a packet of crisps and some malteasers and had a cup of tea with 2 sugars! (All rubbish I know!!!)
Anyway, I thought I'd test about 90 mins after and my reading is 4.9 which is my lowest reading but I would have expected it to be higher - not over my normal levels or anything and I know this is still in normal range so nothing serious to worry about.

I am using the code free metre from amazon which I read on here gives higher readings.

Do you think this sounds ok?
P.S I don't always eat that rubbish honest!!!

Iol! last week i was wondering *if* some symptoms I was displaying - tiredness, always on the loo - like 7-8 times an hour in the mornings, headaches blurred vision, itching etc was down to something with my blood sugar and google pointed me here.
Obvs since monitoring I can't see any obvious problems with my blood as to why I should be feeling like this so hopefully I am just run down!

I would see the doctor if things aren't right although by the looks of your readings diabetes isn't likely at all, especially as the codefree meter tends to report higher readings compared to other meters,as I say,get checked over and many benign causes can make you feel run down...Good luck
